As an indispensable piece of equipment in the manufacturing industry, machine tool is low-energy-efficiency and high-energy-consumption operation. Therefore, it urgent to establish a cutting energy consumption model guide production reduce machining process. In this paper, AlTiCrN-coated taken as object study, established. The composed time power model. can be divided into shear deformation workpiece, friction flank surface rake surface. influence edge shape account establishment considering S-type acceleration deceleration stage accuracy was verified by experiments. Experimental results show that has high accuracy. Taguchi method used carry out numerical experiment with response. influences parameters on are analyzed. Cutting width most important factor, followed depth, then feed rate spindle speed. physical principle revealed.
